Today, the world as we know it depends on non-renewable energy sources such as oil, natural gas, fossil fuels and coal. Fossil fuels currently provide more than 85% of all the energy consumed in the United States, which is nearly two-thirds of our electricity, and virtually all of our transportation fuels. Oil may be an easy way for us to get energy, but the oil supplies will not last forever and our addiction to oil is the cause of global warming. By switching to alternative energy it will cut back on greenhouse gas emissions and it will provide an clean energy that will always be dependable.
We have so many resources of renewable energy, it's just taking most of the world a while longer to adjust and switch over. Everything is there and is very plentiful, the world needs and could go about switching over in a faster manner. I like your blog Lindsey
ReplyDeleteI agree with the idea to turn to alternative energy, but if you read my blog you will find evidence that humans, and fuel emissions is not causing global warming!
ReplyDeleteI also have to agree with you lindsey lou, we really need to get moving and start changing our ways. If we keep acting they way we are then very soon there will not be much left. Its kind of scary to think about that if we keep living the way we do then it's going to really harm those who will be entering the earth at a later date.
ReplyDeleteAll these emissions have to be contributing to global climate change in some way. We do need to cut our ties with foreign oil dependency, and completely change our energy source
